problems in the preview of a report with Xcelsius

When I try to print a report with Xcelsius displays the message "Could not find version 9 or higher of Flash Player...Reinstall Flash Player", but works fine if the preview is from the Crystal Report Designer.

Currently I have installed:

- Windows 7

- Crystal Report 2008 SP3

- Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX (version 10.2.159.1)

Do I need to install any runtime Xcelsius?

Why it works in the designer and does not work in CRViewer?

This thread has been moved from SAP Crystal Reports Design forum

From your description I assume yuo are using a CR SDK. But I need more info from you:

Are you using .NET? - What version?

Is so, are you using CR SDK for .NET or RAS SDK?

Win or web app?

App compiled as 32 or 64 bit or "Any CPU?

OS 32 bit or 64 bit?

We use .NET version 3.5 and 4.

We use CR for .NET.

We use a windows application with Crystal Report Web Service.

We use the compilation "Any CPU".

OS 64 bits.

Do not use "Any CPU". Use either 32 bit, or 64 bit. Understand that in the report designer is 32 bit, thus a 32 bit .NET app should work and you'd be comparing apples to apples.

Also, if you compile as 64 bit, you will have to have 64 bit Flash player...

I do not understand, I want to say that as Crystal does not work in 64 bits I have to compile a ERP application in 32 bits. I want to say that if the reports are designed in 64-bit not work on systems 32 bits. I do not know if they are apples to apples, but I know it's killing flies with cannon.

The application is compiled as "Any CPU" to use the operating system components as 32 or 64 bits and Crystal should use Flash Player 32-bits because there isn´t Flash Player 64 bits.

Don't understand...

but;

1) And I repeat; Do NOT compile as "Any CPU"

2) Compile as 32 bit - test - does this work?

3) Compile as 64 bit - test - does this work?

As far as CR is concerned, you will have to go 32 and 64 bit compiles. Not "Any CPU".
