Agent not able to reply to e-mail

I'm using CRM 7.0 IC Webclient. An agent having trouble to reply to e-mail in mailform. Can't type in the text box to reply via e-mail respond to user. The agent is using IE 8.0. Any clue to resolve this issue?

Hello Banu,

You can try this, by this order:

1- Activate the compatibility mode

2- add the adress of the web client to your trusted sites

3- update your java version

Thanks for response. I checked the compatibility, JAVA version and also checked trusted sites. All are fine. Any other suggestion?

Do you have any type of javascript error??

is your webclient a non-english one? check this message 1311419 regarding reply email and draft versions.

Do you have another IE version where you can try the IC? i know that for 8.0.7600.16385 it works.

You can check also this note 1358871.

Thanks for your input.

Actually, I' m not getting any javascript error. I've already implemented 1358871.

I'm also running IE 8 in compatibility mode. I believe that there is no IE 8 version issue.

Are you on CRM7 EHP1? Also what's your email solution, CMS push or ERMS?
