I am trying to get my first .Net connector project going in ASP.net C#. I have my connection to the system in my server explorer and I can see the list of Functions throught the filter....but when I try to drag a function to my SAPProxy.sapwsdl I get the error " the system cannot find the specified file". Is this authorization or something else. Any help is appreciated

Hi Williams,
This is usually a problem of Java installation required for NCo design time. Please make sure that:
- Java Runtime Environment (or JDK) 1.3 or 1.4 is installed.
- the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment" exists.
- it contains a value "CurrentVersion", e.g. "1.4".
- the subkey according to the value of "CurrentVersion" (e.g. 1.4) exists.
- the subkey contains a value "JavaHome" which point to the correct directory.
- This directory has a "bin" subfolder with "Java.exe" in it.
hope it helps..,

Archana,
the exact problem is that I am calling BAPI's from old style Visual basic 6.0. very successfully for many years. and I want to be able to do the same from .Net applications. But I do not know the syntax for this. The example syntax that is floating around is for connector version1.
I drag over the function from the function filter to SAPProxy1.sapwsdl (this now works Thanks to you.function RFC_Customer_Get) but I must be missing something because when I try to run my project I get a build error as "brfcknA1Table1" cannot be reconnized. This is the code from the example .
SAPProxy1 proxy = new SAPProxy1();
proxy.Connection = SAP.Connector.SAPLoginProvider.GetSAPConnection(this);
proxy.Rfc_Customer_Get("", "Cingular", ref brfcknA1Table1);
I do not neccessarily need to read sales orders today, I just want ANY function /bapi call to work and I can figure the rest out from there.
Thanks
Owen
