Hello Sangeetha,

a quick look revealed that there are alread 75 messages in this forum about ORA-1031 errors.

If you look at the ones with "problem solved" then you should find out very quickly what helps

here. Did you already check the official SAP note on ORA-01031, as suggested by majamil?

Hi Sangeeta,

Check permissions of sqlplus executable and have you run ORADBUSR.sql script ??

Thanks,

Hi Sangeetha,

Also check that sqlnet.ora file should have the parameter SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)

This value should be set a two places, under Oracle admin folder

and under profiles\oracle in SAP installation directory.

Vishnu.

Hi ,

Which user you are trying to login. Please make sure that you use SIDadm user to login into windows system. If you are using SIDadm user then please check all the environment variables ORACLE_SID and ORACLE_HOME whether they are ok or not.

Thanks..

hi Dear,

first you have to login with SIDadm and assign ORA_DBA group to this user.

Please check this link.
