SSO with logon tickets between portal & ECC using LoadBalancing option

Hi Experts,

I have configured SSO with logon tickets between portal & ECC with dedicated application server option & it is working fine. Now, I would like to configure SSO with logon tickets between portal & ECC using the LoadBalancing option.

I have maintained the parameters for connector, ITS & Web AS, System Alias. Certificate import, export also completed.

Test results for Connection Tests gives success for SAP Web AS Connection & ITS Connection, but fails for Connection Test for Connectors.

Below are the parameters which I have maintained for connector:

Group:CFPECC

Logical System Name : EC1CLNT010

Message Server : eccserv

Remote Host Type - 3

SAP Client : 010

SAP System ID (SID) : EC1

Server Port :44

SNC Library Path : left blank

SNC Mode - : 0

SNC Name : left blank

SNC Partner Name : left blank

SNC QOP (Security Level) - 0

System Type - Select -SAP_R3

Trace Mode - 0

What could be the reason for connector test failuare?

Regards

Sunil Kulkarni

Server Port :44 < This is wrong>

I believe this must be a message server port which is sapmsSID

For example: sapmsPRD and you have to maintain this entry in your services files of the Portal Server Host.

If the Portal is on Windows, the location is c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/services

edit the file and place the sapmsPRD 3600/tcp at the bottom.

If this is Unix, then the path is /etc/services.

Thanks

Execute the test and check defaultTrace for possible errors.
