Hi,
I am new to Xcelsius could you please help me.
There are 70 countries and 200 cities where sales are happening and I am creating an xcelsius dahboard.I am showing country and city wise total sales. I used a tab set for this I have two tabs one for country and another for city. But in Pie chart and Column chart I am now showing first 30 counties ,but need to show all countries/Cities with options like next 30 countries etc so that users can scroll.
I have an idea that, In Column chart we can add a progress bar (something similar) at the bottom of chart but that need to be for entire chart? Could you explain me a bit more here about this functionality.
How about for Pie Chart, should I use radio button? Ideally what is the best method for this kind of requirement. Its ideal to have same option for both charts.
Thanks in advance.
BR, Nanda Kishore.
hi Nanda Kishore,
As you said, Column chart can be used.
Select the chart.
Navigate to
Behavior -> Common
Check the Enable Range Slider box.
Now your column chart will get a slider at the bottom for enire chart.
while viewing the chart in preview mode, User can narrow the range and focus on required countries.

hi,
Pie chart is not suitable for this kind of requirement as you have more pies it will be very difficult to read.
Alternatively, you can create multiple pie charts for ranges.
1-30 -> Pie chart #1
31-60 -> Pie chart #2
61-90 -> Pie chart #3
.... so on
Use a combo box filter which provides the range options 1-30, 31-60....
Use "Dynamic Visibility" feature and display Pie charts condiitonally based on your combo box range selection.
