Integration Builder - protect against changes (CTS+ Transport)

Hi ,

Is there a way to lock the integration builder against manual changes, so that only transports or imports are allowed?

Similiar to the lock against changes without transport you do on Abap stack client?

Hi,

It is even not desired to have this functionality as some configuration objects contain system specific content which is automatically cleared when imported ... like communication channels ... You will only be able to completely activate the imported transport once that data is manually changed and filled in ...

But at SWCV level this means only protection in the ESR, not in the Integration Builder.

Hi Holger,

you can remove the authorization from users that are not allowed to change objects in IB nor to import transports into a specific system.

As per PI governance it shouldn´t be allowed for "everyone" changing objects in productive IB.

Hi ,

At SWCV level you can set as Object are not modifiable / not original objects . Else you can set rules to restrict the object from changes.

Set "Object are not modificable" in SoftComp or set up user roles in quality & production system to restrict access.
