price agreement in service quotation ie. open qty but prices fixed

Hi there in SCN-Land

I have the requirement for using service quotations for price agreements only. This means that the prices are fixed in the quotation; however the quantities will be invoiced based on actual qty*s used ie. resource-related.

Upon acceptance of the service quotation, the debit memo request (DMR) is created which holds the agreed prices; this DMR will however NOT be invoiced but rather the actual qty*s consumed using DP90.

My question is: How can this be achieved without having to use a price agreements screen in the quotation (as it is used in service contracts).

The DP90 user exit could eg. read the DMR that was created upon quotation acceptance and extract the prices -but not the qty*s- from there. Or should this be done using special condition types like PPAR with price agreements ?

Who has done this with a minimum amount of development required ?

Hi,

If you want price should be FIX as per acceptance then you have to think about service quantract

Create another document type quotation (copy from service contract - WV)

Change SD document category

But make this document to behave like quotation(deactivate quantract data)

Once you finish create quotation,maintain agreed price and send for acceptance

Then in DP90 system will pick this agreed price.
