Transferring SRM Materials to CCM - SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG

Hi,

I have followed the config guide, and run report BBP_CCM_TRANSFER to transfer the SRM materials to CCM.

As far as I can tell this should create a catalog under the name SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG, but I can't seem to see this in the CCM authoring tool nor does it appear/work when defining a webservice to use that catalog (Error message "Your session has timed out - call up SAP Catalog Search Engine again in SRM").

SLG1 messages show...

Is it because we have not defined any scheme's. I have not even setup a scheme against my master catalog (None are published via the authoring tool).

XI (7.00), TREX (7.00) are installed & configured correctly. CCM (2.00) and SRM Server (5.5) are on the same client. All are patched to the latest version.

Any assistance appreciated.

Regards

Robin

Hi Robin,

You are asking" Is it because we have not defined any scheme's. I have not even setup a scheme against my master catalog (None are published via the authoring tool)."

Please understand for SRM_EXTRACTED_CATALOG no schema is required to be defined.

The all existing product categories in yr EBP will be reflecting in yr SRM_EXTRACTED_CATALOG as schema, once the transfer is successful.

The generation of this catalog not even depends on schema in the master catalog.

You can generate the schema later in master catalog depending on the categories you want to map in SRM_EX... catalog and master catalog.

However as a CCM intialization master catalog must be present on yr CAT webpage as a starting point.

You say XI is correctly configured for this scenario.

Tell yr XI specialist to recheck whether the business scenario for this functionality has been properly imported or not?

The prodct information you are trying to transfer from EBP to CCM has been approached / passed out of XI?

He can check with SXMB_MONI.

Check the patch level of yr ABAP and BASIS.

Dinesh,

Hi. Thank you for this - yes the error was with the XI system (The SLD wasn't running correctly).

We have corrected this issue, and managed to get the catalog into CCM. This seems to have come through without any items (products). We have all the material groups, but there are no materials within them.

So now I have the catalog in CCM, and can publish this. When viewing this catalog in CCM & from the shop transaction I cannot see any materials/products.

When selecting via the shop transaction

SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG - Material Group - Material Group Back End R3 4.6 - Upgrade - Maint-Storage-S/W - Item overview for "Maint-Storage-S/W"

The message is --> No products found

If you could point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Robin

*--> We are patched up to the latest levels.

i.e.

SRM 5.5 patch 5

CCM 2 patch 5

TREX 7.00 patch 8

XI 7.00 patch 8

Dinesh,

Hi. I have identified the error. Our Trex was not patched up to the same level as our Basis version. It seems as if there are new function calls that didn't exist.

Thanks for the input.

Hi Robin or Dinesh:

Can you please provide the configuration steps you have done for replication material master from SRM to CCM in XI.

I tried to do the same steps as from CCM cookbook for Cataloguploadonwas700 for Masterdatainclusionincatalogonwas700 but it does not seem to work.

Thanks.

Bob
