Hi,

How can i restrict role approver/sox approver/any workflow approver to request his own account in GRC CUP.

Hi Yakoob,

Any one can raise a request for anyone including self who has an UME ID in GRC. There is no restriction at this point.

But any approver will not be able to approve the request at that stage where he/she is approver. He has to delegate it to someone else.

So,Sabita.Requestor creates request and can able to approve the roles.If he is the role approver.Is there any restrictions in latest support pack of GRC CUP.

Why there should be any restriction on this point? Someone can raise a request and if he is the role owner, he can approve it too, but not for his own ID(that is useful).

If you think of any rule violation here that he may intentionally give someone extra rights, the there are other levels of check and approval. Also, being a role owner he is authorized to approve it, it means he is taking the ownership and responsibility.

There is no restriction in tool itself, you can put extra checks on it by giving additional stages and approvers.
