Hi ALL
We had a issue with PI DB space, which caused the proxy message triggered from ECC to be queued up.
However, when PI issue was fixed and we were looking to re-process from ECC SXMB_MONI - we were unable to process since the message in ECC are in :-
Canceled - Since already processed
Can you please let us know what the issue is - which cased these outbound ABAP proxy messages in ECC to go in to this status even though they never made it to PI from ECC.
Your help is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Ritu
which caused the proxy message triggered from ECC to be queued up.
Your messages were queued up in ECC itself or in PI?

Hey! Monika, Qureshi, Shen
Thank you for your responses, here are the details:
The messages never reached PI as PI was not available (PI DB was full). Hence, we would have expected the messages to fail in ECC.
Instead they went in to the status Canceled - Since Already processed in ECC.
And when PI DB issue was fixed, we were hoping to resend messages from ECC. Instead we have to re-trigger the interface as the the status - Canceled Already processed cannot be restarted.
Please, let us know your thoughts
Thanks,
Ritu
No, there were not synchornous. They were all Async expected to be in failed status in ECC moni as PI was unavailable and we would have restated these messages.
However, we just ended up re-triggering the interface from ECC. As, we could not have restarted the messages in Cacelled status (since already processed status).
Closing the thread. However, if anyone has encountered the issue & has a better way to resolve it - please, do reply to this thread.
Thanks,
Ritu
Hi
I feel in thia the issue is that even if it wasnt processed, the message id must have got persisted and hence if you are trying to resend the same same message, it says so.

Monika

Queue in ECC? Then the Queues will be processed.
Can you restart the message?
Or you have resend the message in ECC.
