Errors in PA40

In the Create actions screen after I have filled in the Employee grp, and Employee Subgrp, the Personnel number which was supposed to be displayed by default does not appear.

I can't figure out why?

and on saving I get an error - "could not find interval for no range 02"

Can anyone please explain why ?

Hi Summi,

Personnel Area is connected to Company Code which in turn will be connected to your number ranges check out that the number range which you created through PA04 has been connected to your company code with the help of NUMKR feature. Then your problem will be solved.

Please check the feature NUMKR for your employee group employee subgroup as well you Personnel number ranges ( check with T-Code PA04 , whether you defined number ranges for 2 )
