SAP B1 With NComputing

Hi All,

My client bought [Ncomputing L230|http://www.ncomputing.com/products-lseries] which is sort a virtual desktop system.

He now has a problem that when working on these virtual desktops that SAP won't work.

He is running SAP 8.8 PL 19

Has anybody run into this problem before?

We contacted Ncomputing and asked them to have a look at it and they have said not their problem it is an SAP problem.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Quinn,

Ncomputing L230 is a thin client. There is no way that B1 can run on top of it. B1 is a fat client.

Thank you for your reply.

The are only trying to open the client when using NComputing as it is not installed on the server rather on a client machine.

They are wrong. B1 client has to be installed locally but not possible on NComputing.

This problem is sort of solved.

When connecting with NComputing they then remote desktop and run SAP which works.

But just using NComputing it does not work. You login to SAP and then you get a crash with a dump file.
