Web template download to excel with repeat texts

The default download to excel suppresses repeat texts but most users want the repetition in excel. I tried changign the web template property to display the repeate texts - this worked when running the report in Web but then clicking the down load to excel it still removes the repeated texts - how do I get the repeat texts into Excel (don't want to down load to csv, rename to txt and then open in excel, want to just hit download to excel button). In 3.5

Hi,

In the Query Design, in the respective characteristic properties, Display tab, Display Options, uncheck the second option "Hide REpeated Key values".

There is no option in the query designer for this. The display TAB for a characteristic property has

Display As (eg text and key)

Use Characteristic setting

Sort Characteristic

Sort by

Sort direction

Results Row eg always suppress.

Query designer is Release 2004S, Support Pack D, Revision 418

There is an option in the web template that fixs it when running the report in the Web, but even though the web report shows the reated texts when the user hits the download to excel button the repeat texts do not appear in Excel
