Difference between 0FI_AR_4 and 0FI_AR_30

What is the difference between these two DataSources?

How come that 0FI_AR_30 is hardly documented?

Hi,

Please refere Note 1266262 which mentions that 0FI_AR_30 fails to bring deltas.

And hence the solution given is to bring the data from 0FI_AR_4 flow instead.

This implies that both are one and the same.

on top of it to use 0FI_AR_30 business function "Reporting Financials" needs to be activated on ECC side.

It seems that 0FI_AR_30 is part of the so called "simplified reporting framework" in ERP. Other than that I can't see any differences.

[EDIT]

I just noticed that 0FI_AR_30 uses a different extract program and that it is remote cube enabled (table roosource). I would imagine that its purpose is to facilitate BI-like reporting within one ERP environment. Just a guess. Some official documentation from SAP on this would be appreciated.
