Setup time=10min
Machine time=10min

In kp26 i have maitained price for setup, machine, labour time
NOw for that operation i have cretad a production order with qty=100.Nos
My actual values are
Setup time=20min for 1 piece
machine time=20min for 1 piece
Labour time=40min for 1 piece
In Co11n to confirm the production order
Yeild=100,
and for setup time,machinetime,labour time
1)should i enter actual values or the values mentioned in the workcenter
2) should i enter for 100 nos or for 1 number

Hi,
The times maintined in the routing are the planned values, which may vary in actual. some times considerably.
When you are confirming the order it is recommended that you enter only actual values. These are directly proportional to costing.
1)should i enter actual values or the values mentioned in the workcenter
If your actual values are 20min, 20 min and 40 min, then maintain those values during confirmaton. But by default the system proposes planned values only, which you can change during confirmation.
2) should i enter for 100 nos or for 1 number.
you can maintain the number of quantities you want to confirm, there is no rule that you have to maintain order qty only. but make sure you maintiain actual time taken for producing those materials are maintained during comfirmation.
In standard SAP
setup time , machine time and labor time are considred for cost calculations.
labor time is not considered for scheduling.
Offcourse it depends on your need and accordingly you can define your own formulae for calculation.

Hi,
1)should i enter actual values or the values mentioned in the workcenter.
Values you enterd in workcenter is probably a planning which may vary..so you have to go for
actual values(u need to change the values which comes automatically if it does not satisfy your needs.
2) should i enter for 100 nos or for 1 number
the field "yield" signifies the operation cost on being produced material..ok.so whatever amount of material
that had been processed under this operation, you need to put there that yield value only n the corresponding
operation/activity amount n do the GI if u need.
so in above case put yoeld 100.
Please reply if any question
