Problem in Activation of Workflow

Former Member

Hi,

We are using a workflow when we test the workflow through SBWP then we get activated version as 'X'.

When we test workflow through SWUS, we get activated version as 'Y'.

Can any one tell us what can be the reason for the same.

Regards,

Sandeep Garg

SBWP is the business workplace.... Are you sure you are testing from here...

Can you run from SWDD - check how many versions you have. From application menu - workflow - otherworkflow/version - You should see one active version and the same version will be used. If you want, you can delete the other unused versions.

No this did not help

Please explain what you did. Yes, buffer clearing may help. Use the transaction code that is provided and click on synchronization. It is always helpful to others to give best answer if you say what exactly you have done and what is still there.

Go out of workflow transactions, Refresh using the transaction 'SWU_OBUF' and check again if that helps.

Hi,

I know that you can test (trigger) workflows through SWUS, but how would you test them through SBWP (Business Workplace)?

No matter which way you use, if you generate a new instance of a workflow it will be based on the current active version.

Please check.

cheers
