manual process order cannot be created for a material

Hi,

When i'm trying to create a process order manually for a product i'm getting an error as "manual order cannot be created for this product". pls help

"manual order cannot be created for this product".

Its not a SAP std error msg. Its your own developed control. Consult with your devlopment team.

May be its devlop to put control on bypassing the standard planning (mrp) to produciton (process order) flow. In which process order are created by converting the plan order generated by mrp only.

Hey Dhaval thanks for the reply. I'm a part of SAP support for my organization i hold a master login. So can you u pls educate me with the possible changes that i need to do to get rid of this error.

I am not sure exactly what logic they have implant to put the control, consult with your devlopment team. It will give you better idea.

Hi,

Please go through the enhancement PPCO0006 --->EXIT_SAPLCOZF_003---->Exit for Predefining Fields in the Order Header

Since it is not SAP std message, one must have customized the given User Exit.
