After click on CROSS button at the internet Explorer a pop up should come

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement in which there is already a view which display data to the user.

Once the user do the changes and click on CROSS button at the internet Explorer a pop up should come with message "Changes will be lost , do u want to continue" with YES and NO button.

How i can do this.

Using SET_WORK_PROTECT_MODE at portal you can do this..

I am afraid that your approach would not work even if you manage to popup yes or no. You could inform the user that application is closing etc and not stopping the closing the application and browser.
