Add-on Upgrades

Need clarification on 3rd party X-Celsius add-ons. If you have a 3rd party add-on and used in the Dashboard which was created using X-Celsius 2008 SP3 and If X-Celsius is upgraded to the new version such as X-Celsius 2010 for example.

Do I need to upgrade the xlx file provided by the 3rd party or not?

Please let me know.

I confirm that you don't need to upgrade your .xlx add-on components with Dashboard Designer but just re-install them.

Hi,

The add-ons would work in any of Xcelsius versions. Its just neessary you need to re-install the add-ons once you have updated the Xcelsius version in your system.
