SAP BI 7.0. pulling data from webservice instead of pusching it into BI

Hi Experts,

is there any way to pull data from an existing webservice instead of getting the data pushed to BI by the webservice. As much as I understand the standard webservice datasource in BI does only support Push, correct?

If WS is sending data to BW then it is push scenario, check out here:

Thanks for your answer. But unfortunately this is not what I need. I want to pull data from an existing webservice like the way I pull data from an R3 system with a standard datasource.
