Dear Experts
Can you please provide me the guideline to fetch the UN no in template in following scenario
A) UN-listed substance: UN2888: in Identifer UN no 2888 is mentioned.
B) Dangerous Goods Classification: above UN2888 is assinged to specification type -DG classificaiton , in value Assignment type - Dangerous Goods Classification - in Transport Classificaiton Tab
C) Real Substance: Above DG classificaiton Specification is assigned to real substance via Reference tab. resulting values get referenced to values assignment type Dangerous Goods Classification.
BUT
in CG42 screen, there are two different value assignment types
Dangerous Goods Regulation
Dangerous Goods Classification
and in standard system , UN Number report symbol is created for Dangerous Goods Regulation and not in Dangerous Goods Classification
in this case, how to fetch the UN Number.
am i need to create new report symbol for UN no for value Assignment type Dangerous Goods Classification? is there any other easy / simple way for the same.
Please guide.
Regards
Amol
Dear Amol
the data model regarding DG is not simple in EH&S. Furthermore regarding WWI there is not supported the same structure/process like in DG management (refer below)
The selection of DG data in WWI is not easy and does have a number of pitfalls (please read as an add on recent OSS regarding DG master, because there are many changes in the last two years in DG master based on changes in regulation)
In andy case the sap help could give some advice help:
On http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/en/c1/eda0f591ec12408b25e7a1b369ca45/frameset.htm
you will find a subchapter with header:
"Integration of Dangerous Goods Data in Material Safety Data Sheets" (think of material safety data sheets more "generell." the solution shown is valid for any kind of WWI report)
May be this chapter helps as a "starter" to solve youre topic.
Furthermore: it is worth to check OSS notes regarding the issue.
In any case the following process is not supported in WWI:
a.) if the material is linked to a REAL_SUB
b.) and the same material is linked to a DG_CL_SUB
The DG master is using the relation "b.)" to fill the DG master. This option does not exists by standard in WWI.
Furthermore: regarding class 1 and 7 there are "special" solutions available in DG filling (if you activae Enh Pack 3). To my knowlegde this process of data handling is not supported in WWI standard.
With best regards
C.B.
