SOX Report

Hello All,

I have an requirement in MDM where client needs a SOX report for the below mentioned fields.

Record changed

Requested By

Requested Date

Approver 1 date

Approver 1 UserID

Approver 2 User (If available)

Field Name which was modified

Old Value

New Value

We are using MDM 7.1 SP 06

Please help how this can be achieved. Need to display this report on Portal.

Hi Rahul,

As rightly suggested by sravan you need to activate change tracking in MDM for your requirement.

Check the below link, for more information on change tracker in MDM and also how to deploy the change tracker application.

Hi,

I have already activated the change tracking report.

The problem with the change tracking report is it does not provide the approval trails. E.g Approval user id and Approval date.

please suggest where i will get this information.

Hi Rahul,

In MDM you will have the fields Created By, Create Date, Update By, Update Date.

Try to use these fields for retrieving such information. where Update By will the approver user and Update date will be the approval date.

I like to know some information about your requirement.

1) Are you using MDM workflows or Portal workflows?

2) Do you check out the record while sending the record to the approval matrix?

go to console - to the particular repository and enable change tracking for these fields

u can then find the reports in the Admin -> reports section (date wise )

educate the customer that doing this setting (change tracking) is a murder of performance ... its does a round trip to the DBMS every time a click is done for the repo for those fields

Hi Rahul,

I think you need to enable change tracking in MDM console for those fields and expose them to the portal.
