Hi,
After import the SAP_ESS to Development, I noticed that in the Buildspaces JDI_ESSTrack_D, there are 103 "Broken by Itself DCs" . These DCs have Compile State in "Red". An example of this DC is ess/ar/addr/cfg. Can you help to explain:
1. What is Broken by Itself DCs?
2. How these "Broken by Itself DCs" will affect the modification/enhancement of the ESS components.
Your helps are greately appreciated.
Hi,
Refer to SAP Note 789095 - Delivery of NW JDI 640 Support Package 10. The said error has been fixed in this version.
Hope this helps.

Hello Vincent,
Broken DC is a dc which has compile time errors. So if a DC has errors after ur built and u r still trying to check in then this error comes.
Broken DC's r generally of 2 types
1 Broken by itself.
2 Broken by Used DC.
As it is clear from the name itself.
broken by itself .. contains compiletime error within self.
and broken by used dc contains compiletime error in atleast one of its used dc
hope this will help u
