auto matic notification

Sir,

If the results are out of specification for a charesterestic value is it possible to system to create one notification automatically

If it possibel how we can do that

Hi Faisal,

1. Yes its possible.

2. The setting lies in control indicators of MIC. (QS23) You need to tick Defect recording check-box.

3. If you set this indicator and an inspection characteristic is rejected during results recording, the function for recording defects for a characteristic is automatically called up.

4. If you set this indicator, you need to assign the defect codes for rejection under catalog.

5. There you can set defect code for lower and upper limits.

6. You may define these control in inspection plan also. Go to QP02, MIC level, there select MIC and click on control indicators. Maintain defect codes under catalogs section.
