Hi,

it is possible to use Data Sources with delta approach to extract master data from a CRM in a MDM system?

Hey FedeX,

Its very much possible to connect your CRM system and MDM.

I guess the solution architecture for this would look something like this..

CRM<>CRM Middleware<>XI<-->MDM

BDOCs in the CRM Middleware shall transport both the data sources as well as the delta changes to the XI.

XI with its vast range of adapters shall then be able to communicate with the MDM system.

MDM also has its Customer Repository provided.

Efforts can be made to map the Business Partner to the Customer Vendor Employee repository.

How can get an Initial Business Partner data extract from CRM to load into MDM?

I have CRM 4, XI 7.0 and MDM 5.5. SP4 in my landscape.

Hi Abhay,

You must create the Proxy Class (see the OSS note 625859) and use the report CRM_BUPA_MDM_SEND. This report sends business partners to XI using the Proxy class.
