Hello every one,
I am very new to this forum and this is my first post.
While doing Batch split -> Batch Determination for example i put 1000kg for one item in delivery, my system picks any batch, pallets randomly.
But i want my system to pick Pallets Ascending wise when i do batch determination.
Please suggest how to go about it?
For the same i changed SELECTION TYPE from blanck to "o" in STRATEGY TYPE but it does not worked.
Look forward for quick response.
Regards,
Deepak
Hello
You can maintain Sort Sequence in your Strategy type. This tells you whether objects in the search result of the find object function are sorted in ascending or descending order of characteristic values.
If you don't find any Sort sequence then you need tio create a Selection Classes(TCode CL01) before creating a sort sequence/rule(CU70).
Before maintaining that in corresponding Strategy type, check what is step of determination of Strategy type in Standard SD Search Procedure. If it is Std it would be SD01-Customer/Material. And Standard SD Search Procedure should be allocate SD Search Procedure/Activate Check.
Thanks & Regards

Whether your problem is resolved or not? Just set sort sequence Check LOBM all types & assign in ascending order as per your requirements e.g. Shelf life, then Batch expiration date, Usage Decision etc...
or check with major following transactionas used in Batch determinations

Hi Deepak,
First you need to tell us what Batch Class, Characteristics, Selection Class and Sort Sequence you are using. Without that it would be very difficult to point you to correct solution.
In general, the setting made at sort rule assigned to your Batch Search Strategy determines the sequence whether it should be Ascneding or descending order.
Can you please tell what is the setting made in VCH3 transaction code?

Hi deepak,
go to the stragey types of your & there you mention class type as 23 & class as yb_batch (if your requirement is first in first out or select ascending)
