Hi Experts,
I have to map demo process in SAP, would appreciate your valuable inputs.
Case 1
One of Client employees will be going to give a Demo to a customer with one of their products.
After the Demo, the customer will either buy the product or it will go to other customer for DEMO or will comeback to Warehouse.
Client wants to track the Product if it goes to different customers for a DEMO one after the other.
It might also happen that
Case B
Client employees will go with 10 products to demo a Customer at location A.
After reaching location A the employee might decide to split the 10 products to go to different locations for DEMO, like 3 products might go to location B, 3 might go to Location C and 4 might go to Location D.
In this scenario also the Client might buy the products or might not.
Client wants to track the location of the products on both scenarios.
Thanks

Case 1
If the client knows the end customer in advance, then the standard solution is consignment fill up
Case 2
Treat the locationA as one storage location to where the goods can be stock transferred from parent plant. From there, normal SD process can be configured. That is sale order, delivery and billing.
thanks

I think the consignment process will serve your purpose.
Case 1
While materials are sent for demo - consignment fill-up
Customer buys - Consignment Issue
Customer does not buy and returns back - Consignment Pick-up
Case 2
If All locations belongs to same customer -
Here you can have different line items of quantities 3,3 and 4
and have different consignment partner SB at line item level (you should create customer for each of these locations)
If locations belongs to diff. customer -
You need to create separate orders
Thanks
