Hi Experts,
I am facing the following error in our recently installed PI 7.1 when I give log in credentials for alert configuration/Inbox in RWB.
Logon failed
What has happened?
Call of URL http://<host name>:50000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox/index.htm terminated due to error in logon data.
What can I do?
Check the validity of your SSO ticket for this system.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.
Error Code: ICF-LE-http-c:400-l:E-T:21-C:3-U:5-P:-L:7
HTTP 401 - Unauthorized

Does it mean valid SSO in not in place and Do I have to configure SSO for my system?
Please confirm and let me know the steps for SSO.

Dinakar

Hi
Check the services in SICF are active.
It also looks like - if you have configured Single Sign On, the configured user credentials should be fine. Check the User which was used for SSO configuration.

This is my question wheter SSO should be configured to access Alert inbox/configuration in RWB
SSO is not required.
I have maintained the FQDN in exchange profiles
Have you maintained FQDN in your host file?
When you access Alert Config do you see the FQDN being displayed in the URL?
Your error message showed that there is an authorization issue....di you check if you have ADMIN access?
Also go through this note: https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/750287
Hi,
I have maintained the FQDN in the following exchange profile pramaters and refreshed the RWB cache.
com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost
com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.name
com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.mshost.
After this, I am facing the following error.
Description: Unable to locate the server named "<hosname>.<domain>.com" --- the server does not have a DNS entry. Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server no longer exists. Double-check the name and try again.
I have added the host file entry with IP,hostname and FQDN.The spelling of the server is also correct.
Please guide me.

Dinakar
Hi All,
In our PI dev server I am facing the below errors while opening Alert configuration/Inbox links in RWB.
Business Server Page (BSP) error
What happened?
Calling the BSP page was terminated due to an error.
SAP Note
The following error text was processed in the system:
BSP Exception: Internal Error in Business Server Page Runtime.
Program CL_BSP_PAGE_BASE==============CP
Include CL_BSP_PAGE_BASE==============CM01A
Line 115
Error type:
Your SAP Business Server Pages Team
Or
500 connection time out ,Connectio to partner timed out after 600s.
I have added the FQDN in Exchange profiles and activated the services in SICF.
Infact with same settings in PRD server it is working fine.
Please tell me what is going wrong in DEV server.
Regards,
Dinakar
The issue has been resolved by increasing the profile parameter values and run the script as per the note 1020260 which was suggested by SAP.
icm/keep_alive_timeout
old value: 60
new value: 900
rdisp/max_wprun_time
old value: 600
new value: 1800
icm/server_port_0
old value: PROT=HTTP,PORT=5$$00,TIMEOUT=60,PROCTIMEOUT=600
new value: PROT=HTTP,PORT=50000,TIMEOUT=900,PROCTIMEOUT=900
Thanks for your kind replies.

Please check the 'com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.* " parameters on Exchange Profile and ensure they are correct. In case changes are required, please recycle the instance to have them applied.
