Performance Assistant: Longtext display corrupt with NW2004s SP08

Hi all,

after installing SAP Netweaver 2004s SP08, I have experienced problems in displaying message longtexts.

One example for the characters that get displayed instead of the correct longtext:

Looks quiete like an Asian character set, although I am logged in with English.

System is running on Unicode and all reports and transactions for checking and installing codepages and languages have been executed successfully so far as described in the post-installation guide. German and English are the only installed languages. Reimport of the language transports did not succeed...

Menues, shortexts, everything running fine, but although the system is not working correctly in this specific character set case.

Any ideas?

Addition. When testing in transaction I18N, the following result gets displayed. Seems to be a little/big endian issues. Any ideas?

Control characters not allowed (backwards compatible)

Ignore SAP's own characters (backwards compatible)

Do not use F1 memory (normal)

Character filter: Treat characters like unconv. characters

If half character at end, cancel (and forget)
