BPC User Roles

Hi,

There are 3 different roles namely SAP_BPC_ADMIN, SAP_BPC_SYSADMIN and SAP_BPC_USER which needs to be created when the program UJ#_WRITE_USERS is executed. May I know the difference between the three users?

pls mention what type of role is granted for an user.

Hi Bharath,

These user ABAP service users with a user type of Communications Data.

Please refer Installation Guide SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation 7.5

version for SAP NetWeaver page 21 section Configuring the ABAP Server Component.

Hi,

I have an admin user configured for the 3 roles namely: SAP_BPC_ADMIN, SAP_BPC_SYSADMIN and SAP_BPC_USER, the admin user has access to all the AppSets.

Now I am trying to add another user (X) and assign the same roles mentioned above using SU01 t-code, so that the user X has access to all the AppSets. When logging into the BPC client, I am getting the message - No AppSet available to user X.

How do I make an user access all the AppSets (without giving permission for each and every AppSet in the BPC Admin Console).
