Creating a simple web service is not a difficult task. for that first you need to create an ejb dc. In that ejb DC create session entity bean and and put the logic what ever you want web-service to perform expose the same method through interface. right click on the bean and go to web service and click on generate web service. select configuration as develop service. click next and you are done. Now create an enterprise application referencing this ejb build and deploy and you are good to go. please let us know if you face any problem.
