You may find more information in befvofoo.anf file. Please check the exact reason of backup failure. It may be the case that rerunning this may solve your issue as sometimes due to more no of sessions it failes. You just try to rerun it or paste the detailed logs from befvofoo.anf from /oracle/PRD/sapbackup.

Thanks..

Hi,

I checked the log file.

You have for tablespace PSAPRD 183 datafiles, he saved only 174.

For example prd.data75 is missing.

Is it online? Is it accessable? What are the permissions and by which user is the brbackup started?

Hi,

We are using legato (networker 7.3.2) and we are not using any data protector. We are taking backup through db13 and their utl file and .sap file is calling networker for the backup because of data size is almost 1 tb.

Please suggest us how it will resolve this issue. Your help will be highly appreciable.

particularly those from the external backup program. Correct the error and then repeat the operation. If necessary, contact the supplier of the external backup program.

Hi,

is there an error in the log file prior to your listet error?

As stated on 184 of 194 files are backuped, are there errors for the last 10 files?

Hi Jan,

One more thing I would like to share you that we have increased external cache memory in EMC storage, will it impact on backup. If it will impact on backup then what is the solution to resolve this issue. Kindly suggest.
