Why Objects will be Created under Dummy Node instead of Vendor root node ?

Experts,

When we create organisation structure, all the objects will come under one by one in ierarchy starting from Root Node.

But, wheras in Vendor organisation structure, the objects will be linked to Dummy Vendor root node(DYYYYMMDDxxxxxx) instead of getting directly linked to Vendor root node ?

why is it so ?

can anyone explain this

Hi aquaaneel,

this is due to performance reasons. The idea is not too have too many vendors under the same node. Therefore the SRM system will create a new dummy object for every 100 vendors replicated.

This is normal SRM behaviour and will work fine.
