Hi All,

We have upgraded our oracle Db on Portal 640 system to 11.2.0.1 and we could able to start and access portal system successfully.

But, When we have checked the system info with below url.

http://ussapkkq00.com:51000/monitoring/SystemInfo

Database version is showing as 11.1.0.0.0 as below.

-

Database

Name: KKQ

Host: ussapkkq00

Type: Oracle (Oracle Database 11g Release 11.1.0.0.0 - Production)

-

But at OS level its displaying correct version 11.2.0.1(select version from V$instance)

Othen than this all other dispatute and servernodes are running alright.

Can some one please let me know what else need to be checked to update the correct version at URL level(system info level)

Thanks...

Regards,

Pratyusha

Hi pratyusha,

You have to run catupgrade script after completing oracle upgrade.

Run the script and then logout and login again.

after this if you connect to database it will show correct version.

Hi,

I have come across the same issue and after Installing the Oracle Instant Client 10.2.0.4.0 V5. The system info screen has shown the correct Oracle Version 11.2.0.1.0.

The below note has fix for the issue.

Note 1442594 - J2EE: Oracle Server Version Wrongly Displayed as 11.1

Please check this and let me know if you have still issue.

This is the version of the JDBC driver, not the version of the database.

Hi Markus,

Thanks for your info.

Can you please let me know how to update that JDBC version. We have updated JDBC driver location(rdbms.driverlocation path) as per upgrade guide at several places using configtool.

Can some one please help me in resolving this issue.

As per the note 1431794, you are supposed to use this client for 11.2

Oracle instant clients version(s) 10.2.0.4.0 V3, 10.2.0.4.0 V4, 10.2.0.4 V5 and above are currently supported for SAP environments with Oracle Database Release 11.2.0.1 and 11.2.0.2.

Have you check this before you upgraded to 11.2?

Thanks
