Module Duration in SLCM

Hi,

In a scenario where each course is being conducted for different duration (No of days). Say 2 days Course A, 5 days for Course B, 9 days for Course C.

Where to maintain the Course duration in SAP SLCM.

Hi Ganabady,

you can mantain the duration of the courses using Business Events (objects E). You can create Business Events with regular or non regular schedules, that will let you define the number of days for each course.

You can create Business Events related to Course Modules and event packages.

We are using templates to create Events. We are maintaining the relative start and end dates of the course in the Event templates. And using PIQCOPY2 T-Code to create events for any particular academic session.
