Reg:Issue w.r.t packing material type VERP.

Hi friends,

i am facing an issue at the time of results recording for material type VERP.

issue is "Characteristic results cannot be recorder for inspection lot".I have maintained all the necessary master date correctly.

Previously i was getting an error message task list Q is not defined for material tyPE verp.i defined task list for this via transaction

OP50(Please correct me if i have done wrong over here).Let me know any other settings have to done for this material type.

Hello Dayanan ,

Check whether you have maintained the record for material type VERP in T-code : OQ50 (Assignment of the material type). Here you need to maintain Task list type - 'Q' for the material type VERP.

Hi kaushik,

the transaction is OP50 to assign task list to material type.

i hope by mistake u have typed OQ50 instead of OP50.

Just few setting were missing in the inspection type for that material.( inspection with task list and check Char) this was not

activated.i activated and i tried its working fine.
