MDM and BW

Hi Everybody,

we are looking for some tool as documentation and centralization of our master data for a BW system. I am not sure if MDM could be the right solution for us.

what we want:

1) documentation of our InfoObject characteristic ( if possible key figure too..) , where we can describe them and so having a catalog for all developers in our system

2) modeling of the InfoObject with and without master data (text , attr, hierarchies), where we can build for example the relationships with other InfoObject for example when we have attributes.

3) Grouping of these InfoObjects in catalogs depending of its use..for sample for sales or for HR and so on

4) Automatic creation of the InfoObjects on BW system based on its definitions (in MDM).

well I am going to appreciate your help in this topic

MDM could be the solution to your problem.

I have some docs which shall give you an idea about how MDM could help you in this case.
