Inventory Aging Report - Manager's Perspective

Hi Experts,

Inventory aging report - how is it useful in saving money ?? How can u relate the details/Analysis from an inventory/stock aging report to cost savings?? Unless the report is directly connected to cost savings it cannot help a manager or a comapny. Curious to know experts point of view

Hello Bharath,

Check the MC46 report with stock value check box marked in the selection screen. In the report output select the double line display. This shows the all the relevant information along with the stock value .

I hope the information helps and it answers the missing link between stock qty and stock value for analysis . Also, as a best practice materials should be classified in A, B or C category using ABC indicator . This will help to concentrate/filter on critical/high value materials .

Try Tcode MC.8 , BECAUSE it is useful showing all values in different plants and slcos.
