No sampling procedure found for sample determination

HI,

I created an inspection lot for stability study and it is CRTD status.

When i clicked sample calculator, two characteristics are appearing.

If i select both charac and click copy all button the following error message is coming

No sampling procedure found for sample determination

When i checked the inspection characteristics there is no sampling procedure bcoz MIC created without checking sampling procedure in the control indicators

How to rectify this error ?

It is mandatory to create sampling procedure with "sample Management" & attach the same against each individual MIC's.

Now you must change MIC & change the task list accordingly then go to QA02 & attach the task list.

Make sure that the date of change of inspection plan must be prior to that of the creation of inspection lot.

but in MIC control indicators the sampling procedure is greyed out.

How i can activate ?

go to QS23 ->enter MIC name->click on control indicator--->

Enter sampling procedure in QS23 if its "reference " or "complete copy model"

You can only change certain control indicators

Solved.

I deleted the characteristics from inspection plan now its allowing in QS23

There can be two reasons for this

1.The master inspection characteristic is either included in a material specification or in a task list as a reference, and changes are made without history.

2.you have created MIC with class char

Now solution for this could be create New Variant in QS22 for the same.& use the same in Task list
