Data Migration in Project Management (PPM 5.0)

Hi gurus;

Iu2019m facing a problem with the Status of Project, Phases, Tasks and Check List.

IIu2019m using XLS archive to upload data.

Have you any information about this?

Not sure about XLS archive, but PPM5.0 does provide a data import utility out of the box which can be found under IMG options

Portfolio and Project Management > Portfolio Management > Utilities > Transfer Data to SAP Portfolio and Project Management

Portfolio and Project Management > Project Management > Global Enhancements to Project Elements > Transfer Data to Project Management

I'm using Excel File, and I don´t know how can I assign a Phase to the Project Definition.

I have this problem with the Project Management (old Cproject).

Hi Mariano,

Once you go into the import option click "display DX layout". This will give you an example of the spreadsheet.

I took the excel file, but I don't know how to assign the relationship between a task to another task, in the Excel file, the field doesn't exist.

Have you seen this before?

Hi;

For Task Relationships there are no support at Project Task creation.

SAP report to me:

I think that it is the same problem to the Project Status.

I have to close this thread because there is no solution at project creation.

I have to think in a second process of changing Project Management Data for Task Relationship and Object Status.
