Diagnostic Agent

Hi Folks,

I am installing the Diagnostic Agent on my Solution Manager and when I run the sapinst command the sapinst gui appears but in blank. In other words, the sapinstgui doesn't show the information like welcome or option to continue my installation.

Has anyone faced this situation?

My OS is UNIX and also I set the variables: display, jce, and the limits of the user are:

time(seconds) unlimited

file(blocks) unlimited

data(kbytes) unlimited

stack(kbytes) 4194304

memory(kbytes) unlimited

coredump(blocks) 2097151

nofiles(descriptors) unlimited

Thank you so much folks.

Hello!

Please make sure you are using the latest Diagnostics Agent, which is 7.20 and uses SAPINST 7.20.

The release of the agent is independent from the managed system version. Always use the latest one available.

Make sure you are using user <SID>adm.

It should solve your issue.

Best regards,
