SAPGUI 720 in citrix environment: use theme enjoy

Hello,

we are upgrading from SAPGUI 620 (patch level 36) to SAPGUI 720 (patch level 5). The SAPGUI is used in a citrix environment.

Some adjustments need to be done central, for example the used theme. We want to use enjoy theme for all users.

Now we already configured some registry keys, but although users get the signature theme for default.

The keys we configured are:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\General\Appearance]

"Theme"="Enjoy"

We tested, but this doesn't work:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install\Software\SAP\General\Appearance]

"Theme"="Enjoy"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software\SAP\General\Enjoy]

"Active"="on"

Which keys do we have to configure that enjoy theme will be default for all users?

Hallo Julia

you can not deliver any registry keys in HKCU, becuase this is user dependet, and it is

therfore dependent of the user, which makes the sapgui installation.

All registry keys, which you have set in this sceanario will only valid for

this installation user....

All other users willnNOT have this keys.

HKCU reg keys you can only deploy, if the current user is looged on into his windows session.

The registry key to deactivate the Signautre design is the following:

HKLM\Software\SAP\General\Appearance\UseSMCRendering

the value must be set to "0" ( zero )

Please note, that this key "UseSMCRendering" can also exists in the node HKCU...

then the affected user was looged on tho his windows session adn have set this key in HKCU.

Hello Sven,

your answer solved problem. With registry key HKLM\Software\SAP\General\Appearance\UseSMCRendering and value 0 the enjoy theme will be used.
