Hi Gurus,
I've a scenario where I've created a few BAPIs, imported them to a model and bind them to a WD project.
Now I'm required to change the name of the BAPIs for standardization purposes.
My understanding is if I rename the BAPIs, I have to reselect them during reimport and rebind/recode my implementation to cater of the new names....My WD project relies heavily on context binding and rebind them is as good as redoing the program.
Is there any workaround method for this that doesn't require much recoding/rebinding?
Thanks...
Jansen
Hi
It is better to delete the old model and recreate the model than to re import the Bapi after rename it.

Hi Jansen,
You can try re-import of the model. But even here it helps only if there are extra attributes or the deltas are minimal. If the BAPI names change then I dont think the model classes created will be totally new and I dont think this would help. I am afraid the bindings for the newer model classes will be lost and may have to re-bounded.

Arun
