How to save connection info

Hello Group

We have a portal with the backend as ERP.

I often refresh the QA environment with PRD of the ERP. Is there a way to export / save all the certificates / jco / rfc etc that tie these two systems, so that once the refresh is done, I can import them back and have the portal / ERP connection work as before?

Thanks

Hari

Hi,

Yes, you can save RFC destinations to transport request. You can add following objects to transport request.

R3TR TABU RFCDES

R3TR TABU RFCDOC

R3TR TABU RFCDESSECU

R3TR TABU RFCATTRIB

R3TR TABU RFCCHECK

R3TR TABU RFCGO

R3TR TABU RFCTA

Thanks

Hi,

Well, this is an undocumented and unsupported way of doing it.

It will work until a support package changes something for RFC....

We prefer to create all RFC destinations in the production system and, after restoring the prodcution database on a test system, we delete the production RFC destinations in the newly refreshed system.
