GRC Access Control 5.3 - Enterprise Role Management (ERM)

Hi,

my company is going to implement GRC AC 5.3. One question we have at the blueprinting stage is whether we should consider ERM. Could the experts here share your advice and experience regarding ERM ? Why most companies decides not to implement ERM ? what are the constraints and limitations of ERM ? Does the benefits outweigh the costs/complexity ?

Hi Charles,

Please wait for GRC AC 10.0. Especially, BRM (new name of ERM) 10.0 has much more functionality and is far better than ERM 5.3. GRC 10.0 should be available to general public some time by July'2011 and it is a technical and functional overhaul so you will have to reimplement it.

thanks for your comment. What is BRM and what does it stands for ? Could you also help explain why the current ERM version 5.3 is not best to implement ? what new features are available for version 10 ? Thanks
