Importing All Data in One shot

Hi ,

I am trying to import all my data in one shot where in my repository contains lookup and Qualified table.

I have read a document where it is mentioned that these are the prerequisites.

u2022All the no qualifiers in a table should be display fields.

u2022_All the no qualifier fields should be present in your source file._

Qualified Tables

1) Control Price

2) Price

I have 2 qualified table in my repository but i do not have all the qualified fileds in my sorce file , the import is done in 2 steps

1) in the excel sheet i have details of only Control Price table

2) in the excel sheet i have details of only Price table

Note : It is not mandatory to do both , there might be import of only one excel sheet

As you see one of the Prerequesites is not met . Please let me know if this kind of import is possible at all.

If you use Import manager you can import all data by one shot but you should be sure that all QLUT values are present in your repository.

For new values in LUT, taxonomies and simple hierarshies you can use "add" option.

Usually we are doing import in two steps:

1) Import QLUT values.

2) Import main table data with using "add" option for new values in LUT, taxonomies, hierarchies.

More right way is prepare "landscape" before import main table data:

1) add or import all new values to LUT, taxonomies, Hierarshies, QLUT.

2) import main table data.

Hi Kanstantsin Chernichenka ,

As u said i have uploaded the lookup's in my first import and Main table fields in the second import .

I do not face any Lookup error now , but during the import phases , we have several phases like

1) Initializing Import

2) Creating Lookup

3) Preparing Import records

4) Aggregating Import records

5) Import Records

6) Synchronizing Family Heirarchy

and the "Import Record" gives an error .

It says "A few records were not imported. Do u want to look at the record".

and when i click the yes button, there is no window which gives me a report on the failed records.

How can i do error handling for this ??

i do not undertand ur question !

how can u have 1 source file that has 2 targets doing the upload at the same time ??!!

its like hitting 2 birds in the bush with 1 stone !
