BRCONNECT not working after upgrade to ORACLE - 11.2.0.2.0

Can someone give me a hint for this problem :

For Oracle 11g you should use brtools 7.20, even if your kernel is 7.0.

Check SAP Note 12741 - Current versions of BR*Tools and SAPDBA

The BR*Tools 7.20 can be used with all SAP releases that run with an Oracle 10g or 11g.

In addition to the note already provided, I assume that you (or the customer or whoever performed the migration) have read the SAP Upgrade guide.

I assume it because one of the most typical mistakes I have found on all upgrades is to "skip" reading the manual.

You are in UNIX, the guide would be "Upgrade to Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2): UNIX"

there you can find the chapter "5.3 Updating BR*Tools" on the page 36. On such page it says:

You update BR*Tools to the latest release, with the latest patch level. 

Clearly this has NOT been done.

It is not necessary to go to chapter 5, even on chapter "1.2 SAP Notes for the Upgrade" you find a long list of notes that must be read, One is the note 143066 "BRTools Support for Oracle 11g" which describes the support offered by BRTools for Oracle 11g.

I suggest you review the complete guide, just in case there are more steps missing and not read notes.

Replace the existing br*tools with the latest version from http://service.sap.com/swdc
