Copying Inspection Result to Measuring Document

Hi

We need to copy inspection result to measuring document. I have set the master data / system as the following but measuring documents in PM not being created.

1. An equipment with measuring point and later created measuring document manually (to test whether it works well),

2. Created Class and Classification Characteristic with intervals allowed

3. Referenced to Class Characteristic in measuring point

4. Created MIC and reference Class Characteristic.

5. Created Equipment Task List using referenced MIC, me and Scheduled using IP10

6. Inspection Lot Created, Results Entered and UD taken

But no measuring document are being created taking the inspection result.

Please help, thanx in advance

Hi Chris,

Well this is possible but the measuring point characteristic should be the same as the characteristic you have used as a reference in your MIC. Secondly, A configuration setting needs to be done in SPRO>Quality Inspection>Inspection Lot Completion-->Define Followup Actions

Now against QM_PM Follow up actions select the function modules, against the function module QFOA_QM_CHAR_TO_PM_E_POINTS check the synchronous update check box. Now when you would be posting the Usage Decision, measuring documents would automatically be created against measuring points with reference to the Result Recording.

It is not possible.

In SAP the link between master inspection characteristics and class characteristics enables the automatic transfer of inspection results to the batch classification, not for measuring document.

You need to develop some customer enhancement for your requirement.
