Retrive the deleted Smartform.....

Hi All,

I had created a smartform .......> i released the TR, ......... > smartform moved to QA.

Now somebody has deleted my smartform and then released the TR , now my smartform is not there is QA.

Please suggest me the way to retrive my smartform.....i dont have a backup.

Is any thing Basis people can do .....

Very good Question

You are safe as one of your request went to quality before

it was deleted.

Find out your previous request ie First one in which

you have sent your smartform and ask

the basis to re transport that to quality so that it will overwrite its

previous ie deleted request which already went to quality.

Thanks PJ,

But as we can see the old TR, the content of TR i.e. smartform is missing.....even if we try to re-transport , dont you think that it will go as an empty TR.....

Please correct me if i am wrong..... becoz if we double click on the content of old TR, it is going no-where....

note: both the TRs are released..

Yes As of now there is no smartform available to you

in the development if you see the content it will go no where

Note that the request contains data it is not empty

Both the requests will be in released state only

Ask the Basis to Retransport you will get what you wanted

Hi,

Just check it out in the T.code SE03 ...In this screen just give the R3TR FORM---THEN smartforms name ....i think so u ll get some request number......from there u can retrieve the smart form.

It might not be perfect, but you can try going to Utilities from the menu bar and download the form. Then in the environment you want, upload the form from the same Utilities menu.

We solved the problem by importing the same TR thru STMS into the DEV server.

hi rahul as you released the TR from Development and that was deleted in your Quality ,it means that your form is still in development and you can use that form by the following

tcode: smartforms

enter the form name and click change or display(the form will be there bcoz you did not delete in development ).

If you want to create a new transport request for that form simply go to edit-> object direct entry->click change-> change the package name

and it will ask for new transport request no.
